Deviant Goods is a tiny little arts business that started in San Francisco in 2002 by one twisted individual (um, that would be me) with a lot of support from her even more twisted friends. I admit that I stole most of my ideas from them. (Thanks, El Rey!) My shop is still just me, knitting and painting madly in a makeshift studio in my little apartment, and trying to keep my cats from walking on any freshly-painted pieces. Now that some orders have waited two years or more to be filled, I've decided not to make items to order anymore. I'll make things and put them on the site, but if I'm out of a certain item, you'll just have to check back. Maybe I'll start a waiting list someday, if I can stand the guilt. I try to use as many recycled materials as I can, so colors and materials can be unpredictable. Also keep in mind that each item is made by hand, so it will be chock fulla quirky variations. I hope you like my stuff! --Angie |
